It may not be true but it is reality

It may not be true but it is reality; or, it may not be reality but, nonetheless, it is true.

What is certainty other than an accepted assumption? When we are put in a circumstance where we are at odds with our accepted assumptions we are frustrated. And when we want to frustrate people we simply put them at odds with whatever their sense of certainty is—i.e., their accepted assumptions. But “reality” and “truth” are notions alien to the underlying desire to make an impact. We can reverse engine truth and reality, bending and shapeshifting as we so choose but all any of this does is prove the intangibleness of reality and truth and as such the uncertainty of certainty. It may not be true but it is reality; it may not be reality but it is true.
